Imagine the chaos that can ensue as 6 chefs are given $20, 20 minutes to shop the Farmers’ Market across the street and 20 minutes to prepare an appetizer that will please a panel of discriminating judges.   This competition is sure to be one of the highlights of the Indulge festival.  Join us as we start on the porch at the historic Kennedy Inn and send the chefs scurrying into Market Square to forage for ingredients.  Once they have shopped, it is back to the porch, where you will have a street-side view of all the action.  20 minutes later, the judges will be called in to see which chef has made the most of his 20/20/20  experience and award the prize.

Have you ever wanted to judge a cooking competition? How much chowder can you eat? Time to find out! Local chefs and cooks will be competing to see who makes the greatest chowder in town and your are invited to taste the best they have to offer. Your $20 pass will get you into Chowder Hall, located at All Saints Anglican Church on King Street, where you will be able to sample as many chowders as you can. This year's Wine Trail features 8-10 different venues (still being finalized) and suppliers serving up dozens of wines, beers and spirits for your enjoyment and education. Passports will be available at Serendipin' Art, beginning September 8th and at the Indulge booth at the Farmers' Market on Saturday, October 16th, beginning at 10:00 am.
